Based on data from the Decennial U.S. Census, the surname Little has seen a slight dip in popularity between 2000 and 2010. Ranked 266th in 2000, it slipped to 291st in 2010, a decrease of 9.4%. Despite this drop in rank, the actual number of people bearing the last name Little increased by 3.13% during the same time period, rising from 102,718 to 105,936 individuals. The proportion per 100,000 people also decreased by 5.7%, indicating that while there were more individuals named Little, the overall percentage within the total population was lower.
